Bugwolf: Discover more bugs with less people in less time

Ash Conway,Founder & CEO, BugwolfAsh Conway, Founder & CEO
The need for testing during the development of applications, websites and digital products is an essential part in providing quality software. Testing helps to ensure the product delivered to a client works in efficiently during operations. Any defects in production can introduce companies to expensive, time consuming support requirements and lead to poor quality products, damaging the customer experience. This search for operational excellence in testing processes became an important driving factor in the growth story of Bugwolf, a provider of testing methodologies and SaaS Platform that combine to offer clients unrivalled flexibility and value. In the quest to empower clients with effective test management and a cost-effective testing approach,
Bugwolf was started by Ash Conway in 2013.

Bugwolf’s approach basically turns quality assurance into a game where testers compete within an accelerated time frame to make a client’s products better. And only the best of the best make it into our teams

Over a few short years, the company has grown to provide a range of testing services by applying its unique Bugwolf Platform. Currently, Bugwolf focuses on-demand user acceptance testing, and customer experience testing. Ash explains, “We engage customers at various stages of the product development and testing lifecycle depending on their internal testing capabilities or their requirements. Our model can also be adapted to a range of different delivery methodologies including waterfall, agile, or continuous. In Managed Test we appoint a Testing Director to each cycle who works closely with the customer to understand the product, their goals and objectives.”

While working across a range of sectors including Financial Services, the unique Bugwolf model allows clients to create and design testing challenges including access to a Vetted Marketplace of Testers or engaging their own employees and customers for user acceptance testing Gamification of the testing methodology helps to make quality assurance testing more fun and engaging, and in turn attracting some of the best testing talent from around the globe and driving participation. Ash elaborates, “Bugwolf’s approach basically turns quality assurance into a game where testers compete within an accelerated
time frame to make a client’s products better. And only the best of the best make it into our teams.”

Today, modern enterprises take a significant amount of time to identify and adopt modern test methodology into their business processes. This is where Bugwolf displays foresight by rapidly establishing the right approach for a client that fuels company growth and mitigates the risk involved in product and new feature launches. Clients can also utilize Bugwolf’s unique SaaS platform to run their own test cycles using their own employees or customers, or assemble teams in setting a test strategy. By engaging these groups much earlier in the product design and development process, Bugwolf enables organizations to adopt a customer centric design approach and supports them on their digital transformation journey seamlessly.

“We will continue to build out the capabilities of our platform to support our business model and make testing more efficient. Our team will continue to grow and we will build out our vetted marketplace of testers as we grow our customer base in the US, UK, and Australia,” Ash concludes. The company is in a strong position where its main focus on customer empowerment has enabled it to create the best combination of testing processes and strategies across multiple projects and software.
